Otley Road, Adel

JRP were appointed by Barratt and David Wilson Homes to provide architectural services for the reserved matters submission of 99 dwellings in Adel. The design ethos was to create a series of character areas within the site which reflected the architectural detailing observed within the wider locality and responded to the opportunities presented by the site. Each character area featured specific detailing to the dwelling design, landscaping and boundary treatments.  The creation of character areas within the site seeks to aid legibility when navigating a place by incorporating features that people will notice and remember, creating a network of well-defined streets and spaces with clear routes, local landmarks and marker features.
